Hello, i am about to purchase vBulletin soon... but one thing i want to know if it is possible to add a custom method of payment for the subscriptions form on vB... for example how it has Paypal, NOCHEX, Worldpay, etc. I want to add a new one like a Bank transfer thing that will show an account number to transfer money to, after the user clicks "Finish" or wateva the button will be, i want it to lodge the subscription request until the admin recieves the money into his account and manually accepts the request and adds the user after that.

let me know if u need more info.

Thanks

hi,

you could do that. All you need todo is get the IBAN and SWIFT codes from then you can accept money via wire transfer (what's your IBAN ? well i dunno you need to contact your bank for this)

no no no... sorry i will explain it abit more clearer

The extra option that I want to add could be anything, for example like a Money Order/Cheque... Just an option that I will need to manually accept from the user. So i want there subscription order to go through BUT stay as a pending order until I manually accept it through the AdminCP

Thanks

Oh and btw... I am from Australia and i have an Australian Bank Account.. so the IBAN will not work because thats only for International bank accounts

Yes, that's possible.

I guess it would need some customisation of the functions_subscriptions file, as well as an addition to the admincp as well as the database to store the info.

I am very interested in something along these lines that supports instant credit card payments, recurring subscriptions and changes the usergroup permissions just as Paypal and Worldpay do.
Paypal are not an option for me (I had a Paypal account working like this for two years until they pulled a nasty stunt and closed my account without warning) and Worldpay have taken ages to respond to my requests.
I am looking at setting up a merchant account with my bank. I am in Australia.
