I needed this on my forum. Mods' were doing whatever they liked and were causing chaos. This adds a page with a handbook on how to use the modCP and what the tools do, along with the thread tools.

You may changethe rules to suit your own liking :)

And this is my 2nd hack; so don't expect anything great.

Tell me any lines you want added to the handbook to help others :)

And this works on all vBulletin versions that are or above vB 3.0.0

Is the handbook customizable by admins?
Is this live edit or do we have to dig through the code or make a HTML page for it?
WYSWYG editor?
Where is this exactly placed on the modcp pannel? does it replace the Help ( ? ) buttons?

sorry for the flood of questions, its just some of this stuff i would need to know before i went installing it on my forum.

To edit, simpy edit the template 'modbook'.
These are really the only html tags' you'll need:
<br> - new line
<b> text here </b> - Bold
<i>text here</i> - itallic
<img src="link to image" border="0" width="width here" height="height here"> - Replace the height, URL and width.

Any more question's on the customisation, PM me.

And this will not remove anything, but show at the bottom of the modCP

I'm a little curious as to how this qualifies as a "Major Addition" ?

not being funny but can you give us whole screenshots including browser frame as your screenshots really give me no idea and from the title it sounds like it's a good idea i just need clarification.

I could have needed this 3 weeks ago, when one of my staff had the biggest go at me for not teaching her anything on the forums... :p
If she returns then I will install this mod ;)

Helpful hack. Installed, but i have a question. I noticed and I attempted to change the settings but the hack is requiring that our mods scroll right to view the entire file and nothing is that large. Quick suggestion how to resolve this?

Any plans for an update for 3.6.x?

Have you seen this? It would be really nice if it was changed to something like it, as your hack pretty much doesn't have any features as I can see, and pretty much just is a page..
