I use osTicket for a help desk system and would like the ability to quickly perform admin functions via links from the help desk tickets. People can submit help desk tickets by using the vB form or sending an email to support@mysite.com. So I need to find a way to use the email to identify the member and and then perform predefined actions like:
- remove member from being contacted by admin
- unsubscribe member from all threads
- send password reset
- basically lots of the options in the user view of the admincp.

Has anyone seen a script that does this (I searched but did not find anything)?

I have posted a separate thread about doing this when you already have the user's ID but that does not cover the submissions that are sent in via email (75%).

That is pretty much a vB integrated help desk system. Since 75% of the emails requested are from members who cannot login I need a system that can is integrated with incoming email also and has security that requires a help desk ticket number and email for a non-member to deal with the system. That one would work great for internal requests. (I get all the functionality I need from osTicket), I was just looking for a way to link and run common tasks via url. Imagine clicking a link from you cell phone to change a user's setting (password protected link of course).
