Would anyone like a hack like that released?
It would basicly be similar to the one here, but the "install" system would probably be a little less advanced, but it would still do the job.
Anyone interested?

I'm not sure what you mean by the postbit...since it doesn't seem any differen to me than a normal postbit_legacy.

I mean the hack postbit...
You know, when you post a hack, the whole layout? That.

it wouldn't hard to do such a thing like that, also the install system I think.

I know, and I will create it if people want it.

Are you desperate to create hacks or something ? - this is the second "do people want it" I've read in two minutes.
Just do what everyone else does and release them - even if someone doesn't want them this week, they may need one next week, or in threee months time - you can never tell. The reverse is also true - people will say they want it, then never bother with it when it's released. Just code and release - those that want it will then install it. :)

No, I'm not desperate.
I'm going on holliday this evening, and I am asking around whether people like the hacks I've thought of.
If they do, I'll try code them while I'm in the bus/airplane, going to Austria ;).
Anyway, I'll try code them when I have some time while away, but my vBMA getting taken down for "Investigation" does demotivate me :(. Meh, I'll try find some time.

yeah m8 release it
also shame about that other hack that got took down - wish i downloaded it when i had the chance but thought i would take a look at it in morning then came back and it was gone.Usually when they remove something it never comes back so dont hold out on it m8 - we been here before with these arguments and Jelsoft always win no matter what.

Aight, I'll start working on it then :).
I wish they told me why they took it down :ermm:.
I would love this hack. :)

The hack in question was removed because we got a report from someone that some of the code used in that hack was lifted from his (or hers) without permission. After checking into this myself I have found the claim to be ture so I don't think the thread will be restored unless deaths gets permission to use/distro this code or re-writes these portions of code himself.

Thanks for the reply.
Could you maybe specify which hack I am accused of lifting code from?
I have sent you a private message. Lets try to keep this thread on topic by handling this issue outside of it :)

Aight, send you a reply.
On topic:
I think I will code the install hack and the actual postbit as 2 seporate hacks, what you guys think about that?

seems i was wrong.I thought vb.org had removed the hack because of something to do with a licence system which i thought was built into the hack.I now know the full story upon reading other threads and from that can understand why it was pulled until the problem is sorted out.

I'm not quite sure yet.
I'm currently working on a private version, and when that's finished, I might recode it suitable to the public.
