Hey there,

I was thinking about writing my own "Install this mod" script, and while I was thinking about it, I thought of something.
See, some people run multiple boards (like me), but can only click install once, even though they use it on 2/3 or more boards...

Maybe adding an option which would check how many licenses the user have, and let the user click install as many times as the number of licenses.

You guys have acces to the vB.com members database (I guess), so it shouldn't be that hard...

I don't see this coming any time soon, as the integration with the vB.com database isn't something that can be played around with whenever we like...

Additionally one would have to rewrite the system a bit, as one would not only have to set up the user as installed, but actually pick which license this is being installed to.

jep, it's a nice idea, but currently not doable, as we on vb.org have no direct access to determin how many licenses a user has...

The "xxxx has installed this Mod" no longer seems to be displayed in peoples postbits when I view my hacks ?

Nope, it shows it against my own name, under the Style, but it does not show up against anyone else at all. Something is broken.

Ah, I've found the bug - it's the new modification to exclude forums from the search !!
