Hi Cinq

Just installed this awesome hack
--> ( http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/sikhphilosophy/articles.php )

I have two-three issues:

1. After successful installation, when i click the vbArtilcles Settings option... i received an error (/home/site/blah/blah/ no such file or directory) pointing to the following line in vbarticles.php file in admincp.

include_once (''.$vbart_options['wysiwygpath'].'fckeditor.php');

So, I modified that file as follows and it worked, although i am unaware of the consequences of this hacking.

include_once ('./admincp/FCKeditor/fckeditor.php');

2. How do i or any members rate an article? I could not find the option anywhere...

3. Suppose a member is not able to upload an article icon, s/he should not be forced to do it. and if the field is left blank by the member then it should pick up a default image of my choice OR admin should have the option to set a image for such articles OR clicking browse button should also open article icon images already putup on my website server so that members can simply pick and choose an already uploaded icon, in case they can not upload their own article images.

Thanks and congrats on a beautiful hack.

Regards

1) Just change the paths in the options in the admincp.
2) There are option buttons in the section for the rating. Just click one to rate the article.
3) The articles still go through without an article icon no problem.

1) Correct
2) Make sure you set your usergroup permission for this hack properly. There is a usergroup permission to rate articles as well, so make sure you set that for those usergroups you want to be able to rate articles.

3) Not at the moment, but it should go into the next revision. :)

In the AdminCP look at the usergroup permissions in the drop down for this hack. Set the option for Rate Threads. Then when you view an Article there should be a table above the one with the print, subscribe etc. Where you can rate the article.
