I am not sure if this is a build in function, or if this is a hack or something.
I used to be on a vBulletin board (no link anymore;() where your account got disabled when an email bounced back (notification, admin mails etc.).
The user was required to click a button "change email to resend activation"
Any help / hint / tip appreciated ..

Hi there, that sounds a good solution.
I have been searching for a while on VB .com and .org
Bounced emails has been a constant pain for me on members using the email functions to others, subscribed threads and users awaiting confirmation.
Seems a common problem for many and I can't believe that no one has tackled this with the knowledge and came up with a working solution in the forums.
surely i'm missing it somewhere too

Well, I think the problem is that the mail bouncing back to the actuall owner of the email and not to the board which makes it a bit difficult to do .. But still ...
It would be at least a way to make a nslookup to the domain if at least the domain is existing ...
Well ... maybe in version 4 :)_
