After upgrading to 2.0 my GIF article images no longer work. The jpeg images still work fine.

Any news on this? Looks like your new thumnail resizing doesn't like GIF's. Is there any way just to turn it off like the old one?

James, I presume you are refering to the article icons ?
Not displaying where exactly ?
( a link to your site would be good - enable access to guests so I can view it )

Try here:

Note that the jpeg article icons are fine. The gif article icons fail. The PHP resize code you are using does not support gif.

I'm looking into a better way of thumbnailing.

umm just out of curiousity, check and see what your gif files are chmod to? im having the same problem, the jpg files would show and the gif would not. so i checked my ftp and the gif files are loading at 600. i changed them to 644 and they now work

Nope, that's not it. I have a nice little script I run that chmod's all the files correctly. I run my own server so I have root access. I am a programmer and have debuged the system to the point of actually seeing the error from PHP that indicates the function being called does not support GIF files.
