I install pm view hack (to view my forum members pm) and whenever I view the private messages; I found some of them delete them pm before I see it :disappointed:

How can I avoid that without affecting my forum database?

Suggestion:
Create a new table that?s store a copy from the pm without any permission from my forum members to delete any message, and configure the pm view hack again to read from that?s table ?

Why are you so desperate to read other peoples private messages. Personally I would avoid such a forum like the plague.

and what's your site? i don't know why ppl write such hacks in the first place.

Look wtf? If you dont like the hack then dont install it or reply on this thread. Th is is pertaining to his question not your opinion of the hack he installed.I dont understand why people feel the need to voice their opinions in a place that its not invited.

I agree. I think we have had this discussion numerous times.

He said it was in his rules.

If you aren't going to help him out then just do not post.

i agree the hack is great and i realy need a way to see all pms evan if they delete them,
please pm me if you find away MP3 thanx

Maybe an easier way is to disable all members' ability to delete PM's. That should be an easy hack, but you'd need to auto age off old PM's, prune them periodically, or allow unlimited number of PM's.

Im interested in the same thing.

How do you save a copy of all PMs send before they are getting deleted
without having a no limit of PMs for users?

I would love a PM from anyone who could think of a way of doing this!
