I am currently contemplating the purchase of vbulletin and photopost and hivemail .., the question that has me on hold is that I have been weighing the option to go vb for almost 2 years now and i really want to make the switch.., but I am curious as to if it is possible to one integrate/bridge vbuletin, the sigma chat mod, vb journal hack, nbstoplist, hive mail and photopost into a prog like nuke/cpg or pn ? The reason i ask this is that i want the portal feel in an all in one user experience .., but i also want to be able to utilize the shoutcast suite for nuke and the nuke hosting module and a possible os commerce prog, enhanced downloads, etc. all with one central member db and login to make it a one stop package deal..., is this possible or is there a pre modded vb setup like this that one of the developers may have done.., or some sort of super modded vbindex ? also any mod for live support? if so what type of cost would this entire build run me ? Please let me know as I am very adamant about wanting to go vb :) Thanks in advance

I have googled for a long time and cannot find any clear answer or sources on this subject matter.., seems like many attempts at bridge and such but no clear results or the projects seem to shut down overtime .., any direction helps thanks so much

hi,

yeah there is a portal for vbulletin called vbadvanced cmps which allows what you ask ... there is however no premodded setup the vbulletin licence agreement clearly says that customers are allowed to modify the original source on there own risk.So basicly all modifications you want to use you have to install them yourself or you can ask for help here if you are unfamilar with PHP & MySQL coding

there is a hivemail module for the vbadanced portal a photopost hack is also availible (integrated with vbulletin) so yeah what you ask is possible

Thanks i will definately look into the suggestion of the vbadvanced module
does it derive from a nuke/vb source code similar to what I have been told originated the on some of the old vbportal code? So sorry to sound like a noob but I am very curious as to get all the licensces together is a bit costly so I want to make sure that all that I seek is possible before shelling out approx 500 dollars or so in licensce fees and to be honest the only reason I am still stuck on any nuke compatability thoughts is purely because of the need to utilize the shoutcast suite by glowdot modules somehow in vb index along with some sort of webhosting module. Thanks again and sorry if my questions are that of a novice to vb :)
