Patent Watch

Anyone ever think of creating a query that lists the new patents issued daily into a automatic post? Kind of like ArticleBot - but using a query from USPTO.org???

My users would benefit from different patents from the company products my site is about...

Any ideas?

You can't query someone else's database just like that :)

And judging from the site (quick look through), there doesn't seem to be feeds, so I don't see how you can quickly and easily fetch new listed patents on your site from theirs.

hum... @cinq.. this was a domainredirect, there is no real site there... suppose it was a example!

btw, as cinq said, you need a "feed", rss or rtf, or anyother kind, to be able to retreive information from a site... and usually, you need the permission... if you have the permission, owners of the sites have their own protocol for seeding information, just ask them, and come back to us with the result, we may be able to bring more infos on how to do it on vB!
