I like to do a general clean up once a week on my forums, and instead of disabling the forum for a little bit, maybe someone could create this hack:
Admin CP:
Automated Settings
Message Manager
Maintainance Manager
Run Maintainance
Mod CP:
Message Manager
Forum Actions:
When an administrator is about to run the maintainance, a message will pop up to all members telling them whatever message was set in the Message Manager. Then with the time set in Automated Settings, everyone would be automaitcally logged out. Inside the Maintainance Manager, you would have it set so the administrators/super mods/mods' usegroup wouldnt get kicked out. Then also in the Maintainance Manager, there would be some script or something that would block all logins until the maintainance is over.
You guys that code the hacks might get an idea of what I'm talking about.
If you are interested in making this hack, I could make some fake screens in Adobe so you can get an idea of what I am talking about.
