View Full Version : What's with the ALL_CAPS in vb3? What does HTML_SELECTED do?
I'm seeing words in all CAPS treated as variables. Sorta kinda. What does it do?
If you set HTML_SELECTED somewhere, even in the evaluation side of theequation, can it be used again. This is another one of those things invb3 that confuses the hell out of me.

Those are not variables but constants.
HTML_SELECTED is selected="selected", or TABLE_PREFIX is your table prefix (as defined in config.php), TIMENOW is the time the script was started, and so on.
Is there one place where all constants are defined? (I guess not since I don't remember too many things defined there.)

No. There are constants in many files.

And don't even search all files for the definition of some constants. Bitmask permission constants for example are generated dynamic in the init phase of all scripts.
