I believe that the current permission configurator from vBulletin is really bad, when compared to Invision Power Board...
In Invision, when you edit permissions, you get all the groups at the same time, and permissions are divided into "Reading", "Viewing", "Replying", "New threads" and "Uploading" (or something like that).
This implies that it's much easier to configure each forum's permissions than with vBulletin (I recognise that the vB scheme is quite more detailed, but it takes much more time...)
What do you think of it?
