when trying to post on ANY vb3 forum, using firefox and the advanced editor, I get a text box that won't allow me to type in or even click in. It shows up as the same grey color as the color around this reply box. In standard and basic, it works fine. It goes for this forum, and the other vb forums I post on...
I'm assuming it's something in my settings, or it would have been mentioned a zillion times by others. Any ideas?
Also, when I copy text from another site, and try and post it here, I get a message saying my mozilla settings won't allow this...

I don't have any such problems with FireFox 1.0
Also, this happens to me if I don't let the window finish loading. Only when the window fully loads does the field turn white for me.

Sorry, I have to ask ... Are you sure it's happening here??
I've seen this happening on other sites and it's mostly because of bad coding (style has been modified and does not validate).
Another reason is that the IE editor is displayed instead of the FIREFOX version (again, this is caused by bad coding).
If this problem is occuring here than there is something wrong when reading the USER AGENT of your browser. (In plain english ... your user agent "title" has been changed.)
If you have the FIREFOX USER AGENT SWITCHER extension installed make sure it is set at DEFAULT.
Also, if you have the ADBLOCK extension ... uninstall it. It hasbeen know to 'hide' certain aspects of a page in certain sites.
just guessing

if you've played around with the settings then perhaps its something there, other than that i wouldnt know.

Same here, I use Firefox as my main browser and have no problems. Still if you are having problems why not switch the editor you use in your User CP?
