Arcade Game releases?
Well yes that would be one thing :) ... a actually thought is was already added to the upload list ..... however

My latest hack release vB-O-GRAM also uses flash files and i was hoping that members could upload (without zipping) these files for others to download and use.

Thanks for the consideration Xenon :)

Well swf files are like exe files, they can be used to remotely exploit users if coded right. I've never enabled them on my forums and I think it'd be a security risk to do so here :)

I understand :) ... i wasnt sure if there where any issues, i realy dont have a problem with zipping, i thought it would just make it easy.

well .... at the rate we are going we will be banning image files as well as some morons have worked out how to encode nastise

I say we ban the internet ;) Then we won't have any of these problems... :p

I can see the risk if you are executing them inside of a page, but not on your local machine. The latest versions of flash have a sandbox to help with these things.

Regardless of whether they're executed online or offline, they still present the same potential risk. I'm not talking about hijacking cookies, I'm talking about potential risk to data on user machines via temporary internet files etc.
