I am showing up as unlicensed and the "Priority E-Mail Addresses" are full in the vB account that is trying to give me access to downloading hacks and looking at screenshots
I am a staff member at http://ilex-forest.net and the license owner, Imakuni, wants to give me access since I'm an admin at Ilex Forest, but that E-Mail list is full. Is there any way you can set my account to "Regular Member" or something? If you don't believe me, e-mail the license holder at imakuni@gmail.com

The limit is 3 email addresses. He'll have to remove one in order to add you :)

Well would it work it I changed my e-mail address for my account to imakuni@gmail.com and then he could confirm it?

No, email addresses must be unique. There is no way around this I'm afraid other than removing an email and replacing it with yours :)

This can be closed because Imakuni is getting his name change to Ilex-Forest and change his password so all the admins can use that account

Is that kosher?
I am taking it to mean something like: "I give all my staff access to this account I am posting with now (login and password to kall account), so they can all come in here and download hacks."
Sounds like a recipe for catastrophe to me.

Yeah I would never do that.
The only thing that my staff can share with me is a gmail account and that is because we have set it that all site mail goes there and then any of us can pick it up and because it is flagged as read we know what has been dealt with. mind you if I ever thought that any of my staff were abusing that system then I'd be changing the password and stopping them from acessing it before you could say Jack Robinson. But that's completely off topic so just ignore my rambling.

I am not sure if this wouldn't be a breach of the license agreement. Your license allow you to have 3 additional people (mails) added who can have access to the sources etc. here. If you give more people access to your account, that is breaking the rules of your agreement i think.

Any official word on this?

i think 3 emails too much any member of staff could go awol and they could end up dloading a forum and hosting it illegally just my opinion

Just as a by the way
Adding someones email address to your members area does not give them access to your members area. The same applies for using your account on the forums.
I'm very interested to see which way this goes though as I know of a few accounts that are shared between people on here and it drives me nuts as you never know who you are talking to and if you send a PM to someone it could be read by someone who it was not intended for. (This is different to staff reading PM's as that is just routine monitoring. I don't even know if they do that on the Jelsoft sites but you never know ;))

I'm rather sure that staff on Jelsoft sites does not read other members' PM's.
We value our members privacy.

On vb.org we don't have a read pm hack installed.
It would also be to much to read through all pms, so it's not only a issue of privacy (which is of course the main reason), but also an issue of number of staffmembers, regarding reading through pms of 10k licensed accounts would surely take a while ^^

I guess you guys didn't take note of the ;) at the end of that sentance in my post?
I never actually thought for a second that it was in use here but was using it as a hypothetical illustration.

We just got confirmation from Jelsoft, the owners of vBulletin.
You cannot share email accounts to get access to members' areas.
Basically, a license owner can add 3 email accounts to his or her own member's priority list. 3 email accounts EQUALS 3 individuals, including himself or herself. Not more.
We have been instructed to shut down any email accounts that we find out have been used by more than 1 person to access members' areas.

1. Who's kosher?
2. Why would it be a problem? I don't understand, it's not access to the member's area, it's just so the IFF Admins can download hacks and install them

No...IFF is Ilex Forest Forums...
Anyway, you can close this because I was put on the priority E-Mail list of another vB I admin
