Hi,
Anyone can give pros and cons of each arcade?
I am deciding which arcade to choose.
Thanks.

vb3arcade is the tops - but is limited by new games but it has the best design
ibproarcade has a invison interface which aint that nice but has loads of games for it and many more than vb3arcade does.

i like the vbarcade, and from what i've seen plenty of games for it.. well over 700.. then again, not sure howmany are available for Ibarcade..
Both setups are decent enuff, and you can tweak them with addons ect..
think either accomplishes it purpose, dont think you';d be dissapointed with either one..

Yeah, I am at this question right now. I am setting up a site and am unsure which way to go. ibproarcade has alot of games! v3 arcade has been around, awhile, it looks like both of them have alot of hack... I like the fact that ibproarcade has the Categories option. but there is a hack for v3 arcade to give it this option. ahhh I might just flip a coin :)

I have v3arcade installed a while back and I recently installed the ibproarcade but have yet to activate it as the style file is a complete mess and looks like crap on my board. After a bit of editing I think ibproarcade will come out on top but why was this released with such a bad template.

iBProArcade does not use the vB template system. It is all stored in a file. If you change the style on your forums, the arcade style does not change.

ibProArcade also has an option to use the v3Arcade skin. The queries are a lot less sever intesive than v3Arcade. Once you get used to the skin being in a file, it really isn't so bad to change anything. ;)
And with the skin being in a file instead of a template, you only have to change it in one place instead of in a template for each style you have on your site. ;)

Yes, I managed to tweak things so it looks spot on. The style file by default still has quite a few calls to css classes that are specific to Invision, like row1. If you change these to their vB equivalents it works...eg row1 becomes alt1.
I have both arcades running on the same site using a tweaked interface. Have a look to see what can be achieved, both look virtually identical. As Boofo said, once you get used to tweaking a file rather than a template it's fine.

I went thought the same touch choice. I was running v3Arcade and had seen ibproarcade and was curious. After making the switch, I realized ibproarcade was better. More games and alot of the hacks that v3Arcade have now were because ibproarcade had them already built in. The Admin CP is 100% better on ibproarcade. That is what made me take the chance in the first place. And ibproarcade is still being supported. ;)
