forum password - qustion

im looked into the function :
verify_forum_password($foruminfo['forumid'], $foruminfo['password']);
but i cant seem to find which template does it uses or how is it works
the cookie issue i got it right (the way it works)
but i just cant find the template,
any ideas ?
