Subscription updates in realtime?

I bought VB so that customers could signup and subscribe to a thread for updates in realtime so that as soon as a new message was posted in that forum they would get an email right away? I am looking at this now and it only has an option for daily and weekly? What is going on is this not an option at all? I am totally suprised if not and really dissapointed as this was the major reason I am setting up a forum :(

Thread updates can be emailed instantly, daily or weekly (or not at all).
However, if you subscribe a forum only daily and weekly digests are available.

If you want instant updates for forum subscriptions i'd suggest to search if such a hack is already available, and if not post a modification request (or a service request if you need this urgently and are willing to pay).

Hi Kirby and thank you for your reply? I am somewhat new to this modding vb thing and I really have no clue what something like this is worth, I suppose I could just create one thread in the forum and keep adding to it but it would be nice to have the option built in.

What do you think a fair price would be?
