profile pictures stored in database ?

Hi all .. i've been told to ask this over here as its not built in ..

i'm trying to find a way to move members profiles pictures out of the database into a store directory .. (asuming thats where there hiding)
i've found
Attachment Storage Type and Avatar Storage Type .. but no Picture Storage type ...

main reason i need to find this is i've had to allow huge picture file size's as half of my members are computer dumbies and don;t know how to resize there pictures .. and being the nice person i am :-) i was going to do manual resize for them when i spot ones to large ... but where the hell are they .. lol

There is already a hack available that automatically resizes pictures:

As for storing profile pictures in the filesystem, I think this hasn't been done yet

you can link this for your members:

so they can very easy and fast rezize their images.

As for profile pics you could completly forbit it and implement the new vbGarage hack. The new version will come out in the next days and their you can choose wheater to store the files in the database or as Files .
Very efficient and bug-free hack I can tell because I was Beta-Tester for the new version.
