How to rotate banners?

Hi all, I have 5 banners on the top of my page and I'd like to rotate them to save some bandwidth. Any info is appreciated. Thanks for help guys and girls.

I am using phpAdsNew, but it is no longer being developed and has one major problem with cookies which might render it useless if you need reload/reclick-blocking.

Can I just place one banner on the main page of the forum and another one when you click on different forum and so on?
