I think English is not your first language and I can't understand you. Perhaps if you went into more detail, however, I could figure out the words I can't understand from the ones I can.

Well you never replied if my guess of what you want is correct or not.

Believe me your question is difficult to understand. It is very normal that people want to make sure they understand what you mean, before giving you an answer. If we understand you wrong, we would give you wrong solutions.

Yes this is an international board, and not all have english as their mother language. This will require some efforts from 2 sides. Others must try to understand, but on the other hand the poster must also try to explain more, maybe try to use other words or an example, if things are not clear the first time.

In this thread i see that people are replying to you, trying to figure out what you want, so they can help you. If you don't want to put any effort in explaining yourself, why you think anybody would put any effort in helping you?

It takes 2 to tango m8.

PS I'm still not sure what "lested topic" mean.

Hello, I understood most of what he typed the only thing I can agree with is that he was saying Lested and he was trying to say Latest...

I have a site with many many members from all over the globe so I am used to mis-spelling in my forums and usually can figure it out if not I just ask them nicely to please try and make it a little more clear to me what it is they are trying to say and we always figure it out...

So hopefully you will now be able to help H2K with the Latest News thingy he wants... Thankyou :nervous:

Okay, so apparently you want a list of latest news or topics to appear in your forum home (index.php). By scrolling, do you mean like with a <marquee> element, or that there is a scroll bar?

This hack apparently gathers up and displays the newest threads from all forums:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=60544

If your news is threads in certain forums, it should be fairly simple to modify it to find threads only in those forums. Also, either type of scrolling would be an easy modification if I know what you want.

If your news is not threads, then you will need to be more specific about its source.

The latest news nested in the forum display?

Could this be it?

Good idea - I am picturing the scrolling news feature that some v3arcades use. It is nested, scrolling and contains the latest news, albeit for the arcade.
