[IMG] Tag By Usergroup. For Current VB version?

Hey,
I need a hack or some other way of only letting certain usergroups use the [IMG] tag in their sig. I have looked through and have found a lot but none can help.

I cannot make a new VbCode and only give it to that group because it will be for subscriptions as a privilage.
The hack I found was great until I found out it was for an old, old vB version.
Does anyone have anything I could do for this as the more privilages our subscripted members have the more money that comes in :o!

I also am looking for this kind of hack. I would like to be able to limit certain tags to staff to use, such as swf or iframes. Although these can be very useful to staff, they also represent a danger when regular users have access to them.
