Advise on server specs needed

I'm thinking of getting a dedicated server for my vbulletin site.

these are the spec

Intel Celeron 2.4 GHz
512 MB DDR RAM
80 Gig Hard-Drive
1000 GB Transfer
FreeBsd, Linux, Windows

Currently I get around 6000 visitors a day. Would this server be ok for this?

No celerons at all, ever, never ever ever ever....

I take it that celerons are pretty slow?

I also have a choice of a AMD 1.3 GHz CPU or 1.7 Intel P4

well even a p3 has more cache than a celeron.

They are just not as big of a work horse when compared to an AMD / P4

Whatever you get, dont get the low end pc's they are not worth the effort.

Would you game on a celeron? ^^
