Override No IMG tags in Signature

I have disabled IMGs on my forums recently due to threats of people wanting to post inappropriate pictures.

Is there any way of either moderating IMG tags/signatures before they are viewed, or a way of having certain usergroups override the 'no IMG tags in signature' option?

Has anybody got any ideas on how to either do this, or work around it?
