Hii All ..... Im back to VB after a long break, this break was a combination of vb bordom and the release of vb 3.
However ..... The time has come to continue this project and provide VB comminuties with a completed working version of the trader :)
I have inlisted the assistance of a few hadr core VB coders to assist me in completing and making a few changes to the scripts.
1) Upgrade the current scripts to work with the latest release of VB3
2) Finish the search script ... a basic search script will be used at first then an advanced search will be intergrated.
3) a new home page will be added, this will list main categories with their respective sub categories under them and will look simillar to the forum home page :)
4) A self installer will also be added to the VB trader as KF hack tracking log unfortunatly is not being supported further.
If you have any suggestions on other enhancements please reply.

Are you talking about the VB Trader Ratings hack or a new classifieds system??
edit: did some searching and found this:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=62769&page=2&pp=50&highlight=VB+Trader
there are no screenshots and the demo site isn't functional...

If I had time I'd love to help, but I'll just have to shout encouragement from the bleachers for the moment ;)

Hmmm, there is a full release that will also be upgraded to 3.0.5 .... Unfortunatly it will not be free (at this stage) however the price will be reduced from the original fee ....
NOTE: I will not respond or discuss the sale of the VB Trader on these forums as VBorg rules does not allow it.

So what are you going to do for all the people that paid you full price more than a year ago?

Hey Trafix, glad to see you back. vB Trader was a great idea. Keep us updated on whats going on. I would really love to be able to deploy fully functional e-bay style auctions onto clients and friends vbulletin (I have one, but it is so hardcoded, I gave up trying to make it easily deployable).

So what you are saying is you'll advertise here though? I mean that's kinda odd.
This is my opinion, but if software is for sale, it should have it's own site and pay for advertising where it is announced and talked about.
You started this thread and I find the whole thing contraditory. We can't advertise that we can do work for folks, but we can advertise our wares for sale? You won't talk about your product, service, or price, but you start a thread about it?
I'm confused on the rules and find this odd with folks complaining about past purchases and support that this is going to continue to be alllowed. Did I misunderstand something somewhere in the rules?
