I´m currently evaluating vbulletin, checking the admin preview on vbulletin.com and so on.
As my current forum is heavily modified, I was also interested in existing contributions.
I understand why code isn´t available for download, I don´t need it until I purchased the message board itself, but I think at least the screenshots of modifications should be for visible everyone, I´m a visual person, I like usability, so I´d really like to see what´s out there before buying.
thanks
regards

AFAIK at this time all images should be able to be viewed, however other files cannot be.,

I can?t view the screenshot at the bottom.
I?m getting this:
dasdingansich, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
I'm under the impression, and could be wrong, that unlicensed users can only view the thumbnail of images attached, not the full size.
[edited to add] https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=72618 <--- that's where Xenon mentions the thumbnail viewing.

I think you?re right, and I think that doesn?t make sense.
It?s not like I can guess source code by looking at images ;)
Like I said, I?m doing research, not only on boards themselves, but on the community around it. It would be very helpful if people weren?t restrained visually.
I totally understand holding back code, but jpg?s?

I still agree with this point. Thumbnails hardly show anything.

Yep, I can't even see anything on the thumbnails.

well, then ask the developers to change the attachment permission system to handle images and date files differently ;)

You're just too lazy to patch it - admit it ;)

My words exactly ;).

There's a fine line between lazy and extremely busy. ;)
