Inserting Recent Topics into htm page

I've been trying to work this out and my little brain keeps hurting.

I want to put something like this "Recent Posts" box into our site which is just normal htm pages (not part of vbulletin).

How do I do it? If I need to add in a mod (remember this is not a vbulletin homepage), can you post the url of the mod or if it is just a case of adding some code can you please post the code as I know zero php.

It's done on this site (http://www.schoolies.org.au/).

Don't need a hack for this. Use the RSS feature of the board itself, then you can put topics titles anywhere on non vb pages you want. :)
