Hello, I have quite a lot Private Messages and sometimes it would be so
much easier if I could search to find one.... is there any mod that will do
this.... :squareeyed:

An Admin Search in private messages would be a good tool... to make sure people aren't subscribing to a site and then spamming other registered users with PMs inviting them to check out their website.
To protect users privacy it would only search for URLS or anytext.com or anytext.net

Whats that?
Im talking about just searching my own PM's too...
Yeah about the Private Messages I think what would be good is a list in
admin that shows you all the private messages, just the username and
the subject of the PM, you can't read it from admin but you could of course
if you needed by looking at the database.... then if someone is using
'Go to my site' as the subject of the PM you can easy see they are spamming

Grab all of them from the pm table and the query the message text in pmtext table for each of them?
EDIT: How does the download all to txt file work? would that be easier to work off of maybe?

Good idea about the txt file ... but I have submitted it on vbulletin.com
hopefully they will work on it :)

I implemented mbox-export, so I can import my PMs into Thunderbird :)
Online-search would be cool to, but I doubt many users would need that

It would be an awesome thing to have and I'm pretty surprised it didn't come up in development.
