pull down menue bar integration help needed (menu.js)

I had vbulletin v.3 integrated into the "look and feel" of my primary site. The primary site utilizes a java script "pull down" menu bar (menu.js).

For some reason, I cannot get the vbulletin site to accept the pull down bar that utilizes java script. When I add the menu script to my forum folder, the pull down bar is off-center and distorted. I was told it maybe a compatibility issue.

Has anyone else had this problem? And can someone give me a few suggestions?
