i'm concerned about speed again. i have a vbadvanced cms page that will eventually pull 20+ queries if i choose to stick with it. i'm streamlining the forum so hopefully it will not generate more than 10 or so queries.

let's say i have a medium to large board (a hundred online users at a given time), will removing vbadvanced make my board faster in general?

i.e. let's say a person is perusing the forum index. will it be 1) slower , 2) the same or 3) faster with vbadvanced cms removed?

I have vbAdavanced CMPS and noticed no speed difference when I removed it last month.

I only run a community forum with 10 to 30 people cycling through an hour.

Really it will depend on the number of quarries you have with VB by itself. I have 26 queries with CMPS setup and only 8 without it.

The real question is how much value is the content you provide with the CMPS? If you don't really need it then remove it.

remove the moderate block and it will increase your speed.
