Events to show up as threads in forums?

Is there a way to get all events show up as threads or event simply as events in a forum?

looked arnd and did not find much help on calender options.

There is a hack available to create a new thread when you create an event. So you end up with some duplication of data. You can extend this a little bit as I have to allow a "comments" system for events. All but first post in the thread that was created are shown along with the calendar events.
