I own a vb3 forum and i need a hack to stop only some of the members on my forum privating messaging.

I do not want to ban the whole pm system, just for a few people

Create a new member group without PM privileges. Move the desired members into that group.

No hack is needed.

how do i turn of pms for tht certain group

Admin CP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > Edit the usergroup you want to deny PM's and look for Private Message Permissions about 2/3 of the way down the page. Change it to 0 if you don't want them to be able to use it.
