I am about as lame as they come when it comes to mods.
I barely handled getting snow on my forum.
The main thing I want is over all EASE of use. I can pay to have it installed if I have to, it's the day to day use I want simple.
So, what is the BEST portal to use with VB?
Thanks
BILL

I think vBAdvanced is the easiest to use personally - If you just want a portal then I recommend the vBAdvanced Homepage. The CMPS has alot of extra features that you probably wouldn't need like being able to create additional pages for content.

I do need to be able to create & add new pages.
Do you have a link? I may want to look at that one.

If you do a search, I'm sure you'll find the exact same topic (with polls!) so that may help you out a little of the general opinion of the people here :)
But I personally use vBindex because I didn't need anything fancy and it was extremely easy to install.

hmm and yet vBindex has a shoutbox, I'd call that fancy :p
LOL...
I've tried vbindex, vbportal (aka phportal), and vbadvanced.
I would have to say out of all three, vbadvanced was by far the best one for functionality, ease of use, and ease of installation. vbindex was easy to install, but not as friendly as adding bells and whistles into it as vBA has been.
I myself would recommend vBA by far.
