Deny users to edit profile?

anyone got a hint for me to deny single users the edit of their profile?

Create a new usergroup. Call it profile edit, or what you want. Give that usergroup the same permissions for their current usergroup minus edit profile. Move that member over to the new usergroup, and make sure up update your forum permissions.
