Ah, I feel like I've been up for days working on this..

Okay, this is my first vB3 skin.. I think it's about 99% finished, I'm posting this for feedback, and suggestions because of being a vb3 "noobie" I am very open to opinions on it..

I'm not going to talk much about mods, because A.) They're easy to install, and B.) They're the same ones EVERYONE has installed (arcade/articles/etc). And before anyone says they HATE green, I know you do. ;)

For now, the links in my header are not up, so I'll link you to both the main page and the forums:

Main Page (http://www.keepthembleeding.net)
Forums (http://www.keepthembleeding.net/forums)

There's only one thing I can't figure out and it's posted in the attachment. Does anyone know how to change the text color, and that white border color?

Thanks,

nice, it loosk cool, can use another skin for those who liek lighter colors

what ive been noticing is that alot of sites buy skins and try and customize them to their preferance, however, they fail to make sure that the skin represents what the site's about, right now, anyone can go to your site and say maybe "nice skin" but they wouldnt know what the site was about unless you told them

Thanks.

I agree 100% on how no one will know what it's about. Once it's finished and finally launched to the public it will be kind of hard to miss. ;)

I'm not sure if you meant this or not, but I did make that skin. It's not bought.

Thanks,
The text color is <legend> on the Style Manager -> Main CSS

The border, IIRC you will have to add a custom CSS entry fieldset { border-color: #yourcolourhere; }

Awesome, thank you! That fieldset is well hidden.

Looking nice.

Few things:

-Get your tables on the forumhome to align. It's ugly without them aligning.
-Not fond of the sewage-color you put behind the navbar.
-Links need to be a different color IMO since they blend into the background too well. Use that green color for links you use for the timestamp, that'll work.

Otherwise, great work. Hope I helped. ^^

Thanks,

What do you mean by forumhome tables being aligned? I've seen it on both firefox and ie, and all the tables looked aligned to me? Unless I'm not seeing the same thing you are. :)

I tried the green color on the links, but it was just too much IMO, there was just too much green everywhere. I agree that they do need to stand out more than they do though.

Nice design, I actually like the green too.. :)

A couple of pointers, however.. Forum Home Alignment (see screenshot) - Fix available here (http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/mods/showthread.php?t=6216).
Category Strips - Look out of place, need a black border around them.
Design isn't Centered - More space on the left than there is on the right, a little design flaw. Have an equal amount of space on the right using padding making the layout centered.. It'll look much better.
Postbit - A lot of work needs done here.. Shrink the username size, and the alignment with the thread tools looks rather off. I'm fairly sure you're aware of this one already though.

But the thing is, there's too much grey everywhere. That's what I'm trying to say. ^_^

Oh wow, I HATE that alignment thing.. I never noticed it though cause in firefox it looks fine (for me anyways) so I thought I had it fixed, haha. I'll get on that asap.. Now I see what Tony was talking about.
FIXED

The center problem is cause of this image: http://www.keepthembleeding.net/forums/images/misc/header_left.gif, however, I can add a spacer to the right side and center it up a bit more.
FIXED

Postbit does need a lot of work. I've been trying to brainstorm a good layout for it so I haven't touched it yet. As for the postbit alignment, I don't know how that happened.. but it did. :nervous: I'll fix that once I tackle the postbit template.

Thanks for being so detailed so I can get these fixed.
