In a forum I'm admin of we use a table created via a custom BB code to make an edit in a users post. The mod would type in something like
[ mod=me ] This is the reason the post was edited. [ /mod ]
This is then displayed as a table in the post.
It's a useful tool but of course any user of the forum can just type in the [ mod= ] [ /mod] BB Code and whilst we've only had a couple of abuses of this I was wondering if there is someway of making the bb Code only work for someone in the Moderators usergroup?
Any ideas or is there a better way of achieving this? (For vBulletin 3.03.)
Thanks.
