Looks very well thought - though I'm not close to the subject matter.

Design wise, if you stick to the blacks, you might want to consider changing those VB icons. Being that this is for the gaming crowd, maybe try something more colorful?

Community wise - I would suggest starting out with fewer forums and then increasing numbers as you get more members and more posts. With too many forums, some of them are bound to look very empty, which is not encouraging for new people looking at the site and wondering if it's worth their time to join.

Need to change the vB buttons from default if you want to stick with that color scheme. They don't match.

And as Anat said, starting off with a few too many forums.

Looks ok but as said already - you definately need to drop the default vB buttons :)

Looks good, love the header image. The only thing I can think of are the orriginal V3 buttons. They look jagged and don't match the design. Other than that, looks good, keep up the work!
