I just noticed that if I highlight some text in a post then click the quick reply button the highlighted text is automaticly inserted between quote tags.
I like it. ;)

it's a little modification i made.
highlight some text in a post, and then click on the quick reply icon, after that click, you will see the quick reply box got filled ^^

I made a similar mod for my forum a couple of years ago. Only mine works with IE but not Firefox.

Thanks but I never posted it as an official release here. Its just a template mod which uses javascript to move the text. I think I did post it in the requests forum though. Try searching for "quote selected" in that forum.

Well, let's say i know the advantages of both browsers, so i'm a realistic one, not a fanatic to one or the other side :)

Ok, it took a long time, but finally i found the time to include the IE version of this hack as well.
thx to EvilLS1 who provided his code long time ago, but i didn't found the time to include it into my FF version until now :)
