Moving members from 1 board to another.

Is it possible to move members from one board to another?

By this I mean that I closed a vbulletin site in August cant remember which version we were running. I have the database backed up.

I want to add those members to the new vbulletin forum.

Is this possible and is it just a case of importing some tables from the old database?

you can use the official vb to vb importer, i've not used it myself right now, but from what i know it's possible to just import the users.
