As all of you are admins yourselfs, you know that the staff of a site needs some fresh blood sometimes, as well as some of the older staff members may have some different jobs, or don't have enough time to fulfill their jobs on a site anymore.

Now i want to announce our actual staff changes on vbulletin.org

VeloCD will unfortunatelly leave our Team, as he doesn't have enough time anymore to fulfill his moderator duties. We want to thank him for his work on vb.org and hope he will have enough time again once to come back. Be it as a Moderator, or as a Coder :)

To fill in our new empty Position we have choosen Colin F, a very helpful user from Switzerland, who should be know to a lot of users already, because of his helpful and nice way to post.

Another addition to our team is KirbyDE as a very good Coder with too much time, it seems obvious to choose him to fill in the gap in the Coding section we have since VeloCD and Logician left, and myself doing more and more work in the back of vb.org (But you will see, soon that it has sense ;))

As you all should know already, we will merge vbulletin.org and vbulletintemplates.com soon. So to be able to interact behind the scenes better, and also for you to know who exactly the new Staff will be then (even though you should already know if you are a regular vbt Member ;)), we are pleased to announce Zachery, Tony and Brad.loo as official Staffmembers from now on.

Please give em all a warm welcome :)

PS. The exact assignements to the forums, we will wait until we made the merge, so stay tuned :)

Thanks for the introduction, Xenon.

So that you all know who you're dealing with, let me present myself a bit more detailed.

I'm from Switzerland (small country in the middle of Europe, famous for it's banks, chocolate, trains & skiing areas), where I live in a small town (5000 inhabitants) in the north, rather close to border to Germany.
I speak German and English fluently, because I was raised bilangualy and also lived in New York for almost four years.
I'm a student at a business school close to where I live and as a part of this school I'm currently working in an office for a year.

My first contact with Bulletin Boards was moderating on UBB, a long long time ago. I was quickly raised to technical administrator, but we had such a big mess with modifications installed and custom coding around that we soon just dumped the UBB and switched to vBulletin. That was in the 2.x times, when hacks were still called hacks and were located on the vBulletin.com forums. Over the course of time I left that board, helped build up another one built on wbb, didn't manage to convince to owner to switch to vB and left again.
Currently I'm working on a rather large modification project in which vBulletin 3 is going to power an entire site, from a custom photo gallery, over a dating system and a whole backend to manage staff at partys.

I like to help out on these forums because I know what it feels like to wait forever, bump a thread five times and not get an answer :)

That's about it from me, I'm looking forward to helping even more :)
See you around.

We have our eyes on every user, then they have to fulfil a test, and who survives becomes a mod ^^

The candidates were judged on a pop-idol style basis. Stefan is Simon Cowell, I'm Randy, and Steve is Paula ;)

Thanks for all the congrats :)
Unfortunately I couldn't reply until now, as I moved to a new flat und just got my DSL installed today.

I hope I will be able to fulfill all you guys expectations .

And last bat not least: Congrats to ColinF.

Some information about me:
I am a 25 years old, I live in Germany and I am currently studying computer science.
I can speak german (but no bavarian :D), english and a bit french.

My first contact with bulletin boards was a heavily hacked UBB Light I ran for fun on my private website. After several years of abstinence I became mod (and at the beginning of 2004) technical admin of my board - which has dozens of custom modifications. While modifying the code to suit our needs.
So the first time I got in contact with vBulletin code was around september last year.
I don't know when, but at some point I discovered vBulletin.org - and now I am here because I linke to help ppl with coding questions/problems.
