Be sure you go through the entire thread before you implement the hack as there are several follow ups posted by myself and another coder!

Here are (http://www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/thread12725.html) the revised instuctions all summarized...make sure you read the comments below, because the revised instructions used the wrong .htaccess code...for the rest it's working perfectly,

Hey there fellas. I just want to give you an update on the DaniWeb mod_rewrite hack - I've updated it to what DaniWeb is currently using, in a whole new tutorial. There is support for multiple pages, Who's Online (no more Unknown locations!), previous / next threads, linear / hybrid / threaded modes, and much more! Enjoy :)
