View Full Version : Issues w/ User Profile Field Manager

I just found this as a problem in my install of VB 3.0.3 on www.emptythecup.com
i added a new Profile Field using the User Profile Field Manager, and when I go to Manage the Profile (find the field ID for example, or to rename it) the User Profile Manager displays nothing at all. :disappointed:
Any recommendations or ideas as to why that would be? So far the only major thing i've installed is VBindex and Article Bot. Nothing that (to my knowledge) should have touched the User Profile Fields. :ermm:
any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
Thank you

no ideas??
EDIT: This is weird, i use Firefox 1.0 PR at home and at work, and for some reason it works here (work) but not at home. :ermm:

I owe you a big thanks cause I have the same issue. I never thought to check in IE until now and this was driving me nuts. I thought I screwed up a hack.

Yes I experience the same thing, if you hold control (or whatever your new tab button is) when you click, a new tab should open and will let you add / edit / delete etc.
Also out of curiousity, are you using XP Home, on your home computer?

you know what's odd?
I did a view source on that frame (profile field mgr) and sure as heck the code is THERE but my browser isn't rendering it for some reason...
wanna know the weird part? i use the same browser at home on the same OS!
Firefox 0.10.1PR
WinXP Pro
:ermm: I dont know what the deal is. I looked at the code in Dreamweaver (since the wysiwyg is actually useful for something in this case) and sure as heck DW rendered the html just fine (minus images, etc, but the profiles were there and viewable)
I dont know what's up w/ this. It's the only one I have a problem with. And i'll try the Tab trick, thanks for that :)

I have the same problem, and I just found this post searching for the fix...I never noticed it was my browser.
I never dreamed I would say this; mark it in the history books: thank heavens for IE! :p
