I turned off the ability for members to choose their own avatar, they'd have to subscribe for that, and i want to add an avatar for a member who hasn't subscribed (they won a contest, lol)...

I went to that member's user options, went to the change avatar section, selected the avatar from my computer, and clicked 'save'. It did not show the successful message after that, there was no message, just a blank screen, and the avatar was not uploaded.

Do you know what's goin on?

Thanks

You have to temporarly change their usergroup since the avatar is stored in the database. Then upload it for them and then put them back in the usergroup that doesn't have avatars.

Where are the custom avatars stored? Both avatar directories do not have any...phpmyadmin has data for the avatars and the avatars for the users that have them show up, but they are not in the directories...so where are they?
