well, first off, this site rocks. i've successfully added hacks and manipulated hacks over the past 6 months. however, i can't figure out what i know must be truly simple.

so, after you all stop laughing when you read my problem, can you please help me? :nervous:

in Style manager ---> under Body ---> under Normal CSS Links
--> under text decoration

the only text decoration that i've figured out works is bold, underline, overline, ...

how do you make it do italics? i tried "italic", "oblique", "italicize", and "italics" and all it does is underline it.

thoroughly perplexed.

You need to add in the extra css box, font-style: TAG;

okay, i added that in the box. then i went to text decoration and put italic or oblique, it still didn't work. what does TAG mean? and what should i put in text decoration?

You should replace TAG with italic or oblique, decoration is for bold and font weights.
