I have a forum called "classifieds" in my forums which I want everyone to be able to access, however... I would like to prevent people from posting in this forum until they have x number of posts. Ideally, something like uShop could work, where members have to "pay" to post in this forum, but I'm not sure something like this will work.

Any advice on this?

you can use the promotion system to upgrade your users usergroups after X numbers of posts. Then, just allow the higher usergroup to post in that forum.
