Ok i been spending some time getting myself all sorted and getting used to VB now, but now that i getting close to being very happy i feel i still need to try to solve a few small addons that i really could use for our site.

There are a few feature that i can not find, or may not be added into VB that i used alot on my past forum, so i could really use some help from you guys/girls that know VB so well.

Is there a feature or currnet mod for vb 3.0.3 that would upgrade a usergroup based on post count. I need to be able to add a user when signs up into one account, and once posted 10 times, they get promoted into a new account automaticly.

If this is not possible, then would it be possible that a members who has less than 10 posts not to see a certain forum, or have no access to post within a certain forum.

Another feature i miss is to be able to say create custom moderator features, so in admin area you could set up a button for staff to automaticly close a topic, post within that topic its closed, and then move the topic to a pre defined forum.
We used this alot to help make life easy for many requests we get, and is great to just click a link to preform all these actions in one go without the need to manually close it, then add a reply saying post closed and please start a new one if needed. Then move the post to a completed request area.

Thanks again for all your help in me getting used to this new fun forum software.

On the left hand side in the admin cp, scroll down till you find USERGROUPS, then expand that section, then click on PROMOTIONS :) That will sort out what you wanted for people moving usergroups after they reach a set amount of posts.

As for the moderator thing, just go to the usergroups section again and click USERGROUP MANAGER, then edit the MODERATOR group. That should give you what you want.

When a moderator is viewing a thread at the top there is drop down links giving them options of moving the thread closing it, etc etc. Hope thats what you was after?
