How about in our cp, we can highlight a few of our favourite forums, for example i would tick in my forums, computer games, hattrick, and the barclays premiership.
This would mean that by clicking on quick links on the toolbar with user cp, faq, etc. there would be a heading under miscelaneous called 'favourite sub-forums' where the ones we have chosen are listed.
I think if you have quite a few forums, its an easy way to keep track of the ones you use the most..
