Hi,
What i want is that my members should have the option to change their votes cast even after say one month or whenever they undergo change in their ideology or opinion... i would love to see that option on the poll display panel itself as an admin sees the button "Edit Poll".
If this kind of hack is already made then please guide me to it.
Best Regards

nobody have built that kind of options, because it's 500% illogical. polls are made to be fix, because you cast a vote for one opinion, not a multiple opipnion... anyway... i'm not the one to build such a hack... polls would be trashed...

Hi
thanks for the reply, i think the request is 500% logical and practical... vBulletin already allows multiple polling options to make multiple opinions... What i am looking for is a option in hands of admin to allow such a possiblity in any of polling threads. Moreover, being an admin, I can thrash any poll easily... ;)

Sometimes the options change, and people like to change their vote. One thing that really bugs me is being able to change the numbers, but not who voted, which would make more sense.

I can see the use for this option as well. If you want to gauge the current mood on a matter you could have an open and running poll where people were allowed to change their vote instead of creating a new poll about the same question every week boring everybody.

Any progress on such a hack? I could use it for my site, where polls will close at a set time, and up until that time users can change their votes.

Ya, this would be usefull for things like elections where you have to guage users opinions over a period of time.

I'd like to implement a feature like this too.

This would definitely be useful -- I'd like a running poll for "what should I fix next" where everyone gets three votes. This way, as I fix things, I can modify the poll and people can revote/form alliances/etc.

Do a search for Unvote. There is already a Plugin out there. Works fine for 3.6 as well :)
